NWC completes SR +60 million expansion of drinking water plant in Wadi Al-Dawasir

The National Water Company, has announced the completion of a project to expand a drinking water purification plant in Wadi Al-Dawasir Governorate in the Riyadh Region.

The project has a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day and was completed at a total cost of over 60 million Saudi Riyals.

The company stated that the project includes the construction of 7 water tanks with a total capacity of 11,500 cubic meters. This is to support the daily distribution system in the governorate's districts, improve operational efficiency, and achieve the company’s strategic goals of providing sustainable water services in line with Saudi Arabia's ambitious Vision 2030.

The company confirmed that it is accelerating its efforts to implement many of its initiatives related to infrastructure support projects, improve operational efficiency to enhance the quality of services provided and keep pace with the increasing demand for water.

This is according to the approved schedules and in line with the comprehensive urban renaissance that the Kingdom is experiencing. At the same time, NWC emphasized that it adheres to the highest quality standards in the implementation of its projects in order to achieve their desired goals.​
