VINCI Construction Awarded €400M Contract for Three SEDIF Water Treatment Plants

This contract is part of the concession awarded to Veolia by Syndicat des Eaux d’Île‑de‑France (SEDIF) to manage public drinking water services in Île‑de‑France region. It is worth more than €400 million, to be shared equally between Eiffage Génie Civil and Chantiers Modernes Construction.

The contract includes the design and construction of building frameworks for the new low-pressure reverse osmosis (LPRO) treatment plants, the upgrading of power supply for the water treatment plants in Neuilly‑sur‑Marne and Choisy‑le‑Roi, and the conversion of the Méry‑sur‑Oise plant to equip it with the LPRO technology. It also covers demolition operations, the creation of special foundations, and the construction of ancillary buildings on a general contracting basis.

The LPRO streams concern membrane buildings, associated reactive buildings, a Multiflo decantation (wastewater treatment) facility, and their connection networks and infrastructure. The overhaul of plants power supply includes high-voltage transformer substations, upgrades to existing substations, and the high-voltage connection networks and infrastructure.
