Desah Launches Modular Container System for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment
Built in standard shipping containers, the mobile system treats 25–350 m³ of wastewater daily, enabling scalable, sustainable water reuse where centralized infrastructure is impractical.

Desah is known for its compact, decentralized wastewater treatment solutions. To expand its product portfolio, Desah has developed a containerized wastewater treatment system. These containerized wastewater treatment systems are built in standard shipping containers and can typically treat between 25 m³ and 350 m³ of wastewater per day. Their modular design makes scaling up to larger volumes, up to thousands of cubic meters per day, easy.
These systems are designed for situations where wastewater needs to be treated locally or decentrally. For example, when connection to the sewer system is not possible (due to a long distance or limited capacity of the wastewater treatment plant) or when investments in sewer infrastructure are to be limited.
Combining sustainability and water reuse, the system offers a suitable solution. These systems are suitable for new and existing residential areas, office buildings, holiday parks, remote areas, or as additional capacity for a wastewater treatment plant. Since the system is containerized, it is a highly mobile and scalable solution.
