Finish Thompson Inc. (FTI), a global specialist in corrosive chemical transfer solutions, is showcasing its portfolio of high-efficiency, corrosion-resistant pumps designed to meet the demanding requirements of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

FTI’s offering includes DB Series, SP Series, and UC Series sealless magnetic-drive centrifugal pumps, complemented by air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps and drum and barrel pumps for auxiliary transfer and dosing tasks.

The DB Series sealless centrifugal pumps combine high hydraulic efficiency with polypropylene or PVDF construction, making them suitable for transferring aggressive chemicals from railcars and tanker trucks to bulk storage and day tanks. Neodymium magnets ensure reliable torque transmission, while a back pull-out design and replaceable wear components simplify maintenance. Certified to CE, UKCA, and EAC, with ATEX options, DB pumps handle fluids above 1.8 specific gravity, viscosities over 150 cP, pressures up to 90 psi, and temperatures up to 220°F (PVDF).

For applications requiring self-priming capability, the SP Series provides sealless performance in challenging wastewater processes. These pumps can lift liquids up to 25 feet and are capable of rapid priming, making them suitable for bulk tank transfer and continuous sampling duties while reducing corrosion risks associated with submerged fittings.

The UC Series ANSI-dimensional pumps address highly aggressive wastewater streams. UCR models, featuring pure ETFE linings and fully encapsulated magnets, are designed for extreme chemical resistance in applications such as plating waste, mining effluents, and fume scrubbers. UCP models offer a cost-effective alternative with polypropylene and ETFE construction. Both variants support high flow rates, elevated pressures, and optional IoT-ready monitoring features.

FTI also offers Air AODD pumps for corrosive, viscous, or solids-laden fluids, delivering gentle handling with leak-free operation and broad material compatibility. Drum and barrel pumps round out the portfolio, enabling safe and efficient transfer from drums, barrels, and intermediate bulk containers in dosing and batching operations.

Together, these solutions support reliable, low-maintenance fluid handling across wastewater treatment facilities, helping operators improve efficiency, safety, and long-term performance in corrosive environments.
