The 97th annual technical exhibition and conference will see Sulzer and its specialist brands JWC Environmental, Johnston Pump and Nordic Water displaying new products and offering their combined expertise to attendees. The WEFTEC conference attracts professionals in the water sector from around the world, looking to support their colleagues with innovations and knowledge. Among them, Sulzer will be on hand to highlight the features of its range of products for clean and wastewater applications that deliver benefits in performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
Improved efficiency built-in
One of the key talking points for the local market will be compliance with Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements, which Sulzer supports with an extensive product range that is manufactured in the USA. One example is the ABS XFP submersible pump range that has recently been updated with the ContraBlock Evo impeller, which can be seen at the booth. This latest development reduces blockages and cuts energy consumption, essential characteristics for pumps designed for network pumping stations.
These benefits can be enhanced by the BlueLinQ Pro controller, which can be simply installed in new or existing infrastructure. Designed to optimize the operation of pumps, mixers and controlled valves, this latest development from Sulzer minimizes costs and improves the availability of pumping stations.
Also new to the market and on display at the exhibition will be the HST™ 10 turbo blower. This latest addition to the HST range offers industry-leading reliability and energy efficiency with a compact footprint, significantly reducing operating costs for aeration processes.
Expanded headworks solutions
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to talk with experts in filtration from Nordic Water. The company’s wide range of innovative and energy-efficient filtration solutions for removing particles from water include perforated screens, sand filters and fiber disc filters. Combined with its tertiary treatment systems, Nordic Water provides proven technologies for removing biological, chemical and pharmaceutical residues from water.
Another brand on show will be JWC Environmental, which will highlight its range of grinders, rotary drum screens , coarse and fine screens as well as other headworks assets. This lineup has recently been expanded with the addition of MevaScreen by Nordic Water, which includes compactors and conveyors for solids reduction, separation and removal at the headworks.
